Parker 911

So I've noticed a few things already that make Colorado different than California. For starters, it seems like people are much more reluctant to meet new people here.

Another different thing I witnessed today was from a police officer. He was crusing along the main avenue at 10 mph slower than the limit, just looking for someone to bust. After about ten minutes of this he finally pulled over somebody for what seemed to be turning right into a residential area without using their turn signal. Wow. If I was a police officer in Douglas County, CO, I would not give a flying fuck about my job considering the crime rate is probably at about 0.5% I would just spend my day visiting coffee shops, Jamba Juice, and maybe even catching a flick because the only tickets that are given out in this town are chicken shit moving violations and the occasional MIP. If a cop ever tries to pull me over here in Parker I'm just gonna say, "fuck it", gun it to 100 and hide in one of the hundreds of neighborhoods in this town. The police in this town are the people that couldn't cut it as little league baseball umpires so they decided to take this job from hearing they get to play "cops & robbers." I shit you not, I once got pulled over for driving 5 mph over the 40 mph limit at 12:30 AM when there wasn't a single fucking car on the road BUT mine! As if this alone wasn't enough, the officer then noticed that I was driving with no shoes. He told me that I could face a serious fine for driving without shoes. Luckily, he let me off with a warning for the speed and the no shoes. I guess he saw some good in me. Another time I got pulled over for having a headlight out which is totally understandable. But, as the officer came to the car and shined his pretend light saber at me, he immediately told me flat out that he suspected me of doing some drinking and marijuana smoking. I had been doing neither. He then proceeded to call in the K-9 unit to come smell my car for drugs. If a cop in LA pulls you over and asks about marijuana, he's most likely just asking where he can get some and how much.
