Sunday

Hey everyone.  Just got back to Long Beach this morning.  as I got on the plane I had this sudden, unexpected feeling of relief.  I was excited to go back to California for the rest of the semester and even more excited to restart my life in Colorado in a new way this summer.  The more I think about my decision to move back, the more comfortable I am getting with it.  I'm looking forward to a summer in the city.  Should be great.  But I will definately miss SO Cal and I will definately have to visit a lot.

I haven't been listening to anything new since my last recs.  I'm still listening to She & Him and Lydia.  Butch Walker's band, 1969 is releasing their album tomorrow but as I previewed it today, it didn't sound too promising.

I saw the movie "21" yesterday.  It was exactly what I thought it to be.  A "popcorn" movie.  The plot is completely given in the trailer.  I merely saw this for a father-son bonding moment as a film snob like me would never actually have the desire to see this.  Those of you that watch movies for the sole purpose of entertainment will most likely enjoy it.  I'm really interested in a new film coming out starring Norah Jones called, "My Blueberry Nights."  Check out the trailer.

I just got done watching an amazing basketball game between Davidson and Kansas.  Brandon Rush's defense on Curry was definately the winning factor for Kansas.  I am so excited for opening day for baseball season tomorrow.  It seems like just yesterday when I was sitting in the corner, crying like a little girl as I watched my Rockies being swept by the Red Sox.  I think the Rockies will make the playoffs again this year as long as the pitching stays solid.  I think they'll have the best home record in the league.  Just a hunch.  Holliday and Tulo are gonna own the plate.  Now that I'm moving back home, I'll actually get to go to some games!  Watched some of the NCAA hockey tournament this weekend.  Pretty disappointing considering all 3 of the Colorado schools (DU, CC, Air Force) lost in the first round.

One Tree Hill and Lost aren't new this week so I don't know what I'll do with myself.  I guess I can always watch the Hills.
